Fundamentals Workshop

This immersion is dedicated to all who are starting their Yoga journey, as well as the ones who’d like to deepen their practice foundations.

Within this 2-day workshop we will explore, in detail, the physical alignment of the main postures of the practice, as well as the philosophy and energetics that support it.

What is Yoga? exploring its meaning as a goal and as a practice according to the spiritual  scriptures (focus on the 8 limbs of the Raja Yoga System & the 5 Kleshas)

Jivamukti Yoga: Presenting the method and its 5 tenets 

Ujjayi Pranayama: learn the breath technique to active while practicing

Mula Bandha: learn to activate the root lock, necessary to preserve the energy of the practice  within one’s body 

Surya Namaskar: sun salutations Ashtanga A & Jivamukti Yoga A. Introductory movements of  the practice that refine the principles of movement, breath and bandha 

Asanas: exploring the main postures of the practice, detailing the alignment of each one  (standing postures, forward bends, twists, back bending, inversions)
