This immersion is dedicated to all who are starting their Yoga journey, as well as the ones who’d like to deepen their practice foundations.
Within this 2-day workshop we will explore, in detail, the physical alignment of the main postures of the practice, as well as the philosophy and energetics that support it.

Workshop content
– What is Yoga? exploring its meaning as a goal and as a practice according to the spiritual scriptures (focus on the 8 limbs of the Raja Yoga System & the 5 Kleshas)
– Jivamukti Yoga: Presenting the method and its 5 tenets
– Ujjayi Pranayama: learn the breath technique to active while practicing
– Mula Bandha: learn to activate the root lock, necessary to preserve the energy of the practice within one’s body
– Surya Namaskar: sun salutations Ashtanga A & Jivamukti Yoga A. Introductory movements of the practice that refine the principles of movement, breath and bandha
– Asanas: exploring the main postures of the practice, detailing the alignment of each one (standing postures, forward bends, twists, back bending, inversions)
